Mayank B. Patel OBE

Mayank is an investor and an entrepreneur with a business portfolio including Currencies Direct Limited, Tor Currency Exchange Limited and Universal VAT services (USA), Mayank’s interests in financial services and real estate span five continents creating one of the largest currency and international trade facilitators in the industry.
His portfolio of business achievements includes Entrepreneur of the Year from both BT and London Business Awards and listing as one of Britain’s top 100 entrepreneurs by Management Today. During the recent 2011 Queen’s Birthday Honours, Mayank was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to Financial Services and Entrepreneurship.
Married with two children, he is a member of the Young President’s Organization and is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).
Mayank’s international business success has allowed him and his wife Jigna to pursue goals that are more personal and outside of business. In addition to being patrons of the British Asian Trust the family is also associated with a number of charities in the UK and in India.
